Multi-tenant building construction site 63 Hafencity Hamburg

Just as the competition stipulates that the new building on site 63 in Hamburg’s HafenCity should give a face and a form of special radiance to the programmatic and active engagement with the social issues of the future, but also to the specific use by MSH, the design aims with its architectural image to distinguish itself from a standardised office building and to make the ‘multitenant’ use with its ‘public staggering’ legible from bottom to top. The result is an innovative and inspiring learning and working environment facing the public space. The sustainability aspects of the building design are ‘legible’, but do not take centre stage.
